Bank ABC is reinforcing its Retail & Digital Banking Department with the recruitment of an SMEs Relationship Manager for its Branch in Tunis.

Reporting to the Head of Retail, the Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of SME’s and Professionals which implies calling on clients and prospects, being the central point of contact for the clients within the organization.

Proactively managing and satisfying client needs, performing credit assessment to determine the opportunities worth pursuing, discussing the proposed facility structures with the Head of Retail and any other relevant product specialists.

Principal Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables of Role:

·  Manage a portfolio of existing Corporate Clients and/or Groups and Professionals by reaching out to clients, maintaining personalized contacts with each name, promptly answering clients’ queries, and proactively managing clients’ needs.

· Develop new relationships by calling on prospects and ensure that ABC is always positioned on key deals and invited to key transactions while identifying other niche opportunities to grow our annuity business

·  Meet/exceed budget requirements.

· Manage a portfolio of existing Corporate Clients and/or Groups and Professionals by reaching out to clients, maintaining personalized contacts with each name, promptly answering clients’ queries, and proactively managing clients’ needs.

· Develop new relationships by calling on prospects and ensure that ABC is always positioned on key deals and invited to key transactions while identifying other niche opportunities to grow our annuity business

· Meet/exceed budget requirements

· Ensure excellent working relationships with all the departments of the bank to serve our clients to the best of our capabilities.

· Ensure the achievement of their individual business objectives.

· Manage a portfolio of Corporate Clients, SMEs, and Professional customers.

· Enhance and develop equipment of the customers in banking products and services.

· Make profitable relationship through the tariff approach and increasing of the share of entrusted flux.

· Regularly use the sponsorship method to acquire new customers.

· Perform regular visits to customers, through exploration to develop their portfolio.

· Ensure the development of dual relationships with Corporate Clients, SMEs, and Professional Clients, incorporating professional need and private need.

· Provide customers with quality service, thorough follow up and answer their claims.

· Monitor monthly frozen debtor accounts and creditor dormant accounts, and save the actions established in a dedicated file.

· Comply with the rules for granting loans before any transmission of the files for the approval of the credit department.

· Ensure the annual renewal of the operating credit related to Corporate Clients, SMEs, and Professionals.

· Follow the portfolio’s outstanding payment and ensure the recovery of NPLs in the soft phase of collection collaborating with the recovery unit.

· Strictly apply internal procedures of the Bank for all operations and business realized in the branch.

· Inform the hierarchy of any anomaly or failure detected during checks.

· Ensure obtaining and preservation of all documents related to the opening of Corporate Clients, SMEs, and Professionals accounts and sale of products and services related to their portfolio.

· Ensure the updating and order of their portfolio.

· Ensure the reliability of entered data and its update in the CBS and in other applications, related to clients of their portfolio.

· Ensure the transmission of documents related to business to the internal control.

· Ensure the replacement of the CSO if needed.

· Ensure obtaining and preservation of all documents related to the opening of Corporate Clients, SMEs, and Professionals accounts and sale of products and services related to their portfolio.

· Strictly comply with all applicable risk and portfolio management policies and documentation standards.

· Ensure adherence to compliance policies including KYC renewal, AML, monitoring etc.

·  Successfully complete trainings, coach junior staff and trainees of relevance and when appropriate.

Knowledge: 

Analytical thinking.

Credit analysis skills. 

Knowledge of Tunisian market and main players.

Understanding of sector trends, client relationship skills.

Experience: 

3 to 5 years’ experience in similar position within a commercial bank.

Education & Certifications: 

Bachelor / Master’s degree or equivalent in Management, Finance, Economics or Banking is required.
