This position requires a skilled field service technician with experience in installing, testing and repairing complex equipment. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems.
The technician will be responsible for handling customer comments and requests, providing sales support and completing Field Service Orders and Spare Parts Tickets.
Key qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent technical diploma, at least 7 years of experience in the field, advanced knowledge of one or more of the following fields: hydraulics equipment; mechanical equipment and tools, and ability to read and understand drawings.
Other essential skills include the ability to perform moderate complex calculations, use technical tools and instruments and basic troubleshooting.
Candidates must also possess excellent communication skills in both French and English languages, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications.
Responsibilities:
- Install, test and repair new and reworked products
- Handle customer comments, requests and complaints
- Provide sales support ensuring customers are fully informed
- Complete Field Service Orders and Spare Parts Tickets
- Assure quality issues and documentation is communicated to the Company's Service Management
- Complete field documentation after each service job
- Provide Project Support as required
