This medical professional will work in a clinical setting, performing Disability Assessments on US veterans. The role requires strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license is mandatory.
The typical day involves working with 3-5 patients, performing medical assessments and documenting exam findings. This role does not involve treating or prescribing medication. Instead, the focus is on providing accurate information to support the VA's disability benefits process.
