Job Purpose and Responsibilities

Our delivery drivers play a critical role in the country's food supply chain. They are responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight routes for delivering and/or unloading food and food-related products to customers safely and efficiently. The primary responsibilities include communicating and interacting with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally, performing all required safety checks, and following DOT regulations.

Other key tasks involve inspecting trailers, loading and securing freight, performing damage control checks, verifying delivery of items, collecting money where required, and maintaining equipment and facilities. You will also complete daily records of hours of service and perform general housekeeping duties.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a valid CDL-A, 1 year of commercial driving experience, and meet all state licensing and certification requirements. You should also have a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and pass post-offer drug tests and criminal background checks.
