Surgical Technician Opportunities

We are seeking a First Assist Technician to join our team on a local contract basis. This is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will involve working in a hospital setting as a First Assist Technician, providing critical support to medical professionals during surgical procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining operating rooms, handling equipment, and assisting surgeons during operations.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited Allied Health Education Program and at least one year of recent experience as a First Assist Technician in a hospital setting. You should also hold certification as a Surgical Technologist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Preference will be given to candidates with additional certifications such as those offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
