Strategic Procurement Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Director to join our team at the African Development Bank. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in leading the successful implementation of our procurement strategy.

• Lead the development and implementation of procurement policies and strategies that align with the Bank's objectives.
• Ensure consistent application of procurement procedures across all regions.
• Review and clear procurement diagnostic assessment reports and provide guidance on improving Borrowers' procurement systems.
• Mobilize financial resources to support procurement reforms in Regional Member Countries.
• Foster partnerships with other Multilateral Development Banks to strengthen regional procurement capacity.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Master's degree in Engineering, Public/Business Administration, Law, Procurement, Economics or related fields.
• At least 7 years of experience in providing procurement support and advice to development projects and programs.
• Proven familiarity with donor funding conditions and Bank Procurement policy.
• Experience in supervising and managing development project implementation teams.

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of flexibility, open-mindedness, and results-oriented approach to achieve both Bank and Borrower objectives.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
