A dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech is required to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, activating patient files, and providing support to patients and medical staff.
About the Job:
The Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, medical staff, and administrative personnel. Key responsibilities include:
- Promptly greeting patients when entering waiting areas, exam rooms, laboratory, or x-ray rooms.
- Communicating effectively with patients on wait times and providing direction on the treatment process.
- Solving patient problems and recognizing emergent/hazardous situations.
- Providing timely follow-up regarding lab and x-ray results.
- Executing follow-up calls with urgency.
- Assisting front desk personnel with patient check-in/out procedures as needed.
