The Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join our team in Tunis. As a key support function, this role will provide analytical assistance to our Senior Country Officer (Tunisia and Libya) in ensuring project delivery meets corporate standards. The successful candidate will work closely with client engagement leads on day-to-day operational program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• ">
• Prepare internal and external documents, briefs, budgets, and ensure peer review of project documents;">
• Identify appropriate consultants and prepare necessary documentation for contracting and payment;">
• Ensure Investment/Advisory/Upstream projects meet corporate requirements regarding IDD, budgets, agreements with development partners, and drafting and filing of legal cover memos;">
• Monitor risk and ensure good work standards are consistently applied, including legal, results measurement, environment, social, and conflict-of-interest aspects;">
• Extract data from multiple databases and present information to various audiences;">
• Conduct research, prepare analysis, and draft presentations;">
• Track departmental Key Performance Indicators and provide projections;">
• Support resource management and draft Terms of Reference for consultants;">
• Liaise with teams for event organization and serve as the 'go-to' person for data and research support;">
• Maintain reports and documentation required;">

Requirements

• ">
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, finance, business, or equivalent;">
• 2 years of experience in banking, consulting, or a dynamic knowledge-based environment;">
• Excellent financial modeling skills, analytical abilities, and success using quantitative methods;">
• Highly organized with good project management practices, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and database skills;">
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English and Arabic;">
• Strong attention to detail and quality, teamwork skills, and ability to work across interpersonal boundaries;">
• Familiarity with IFC strategy, budgeting processes, and databases would be an advantage;">
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines, working on multiple projects;">
• Deep understanding of strategy and internal processes to help teams deliver client solutions;">
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, well-organized, and strong project management and analytical skills;">
• Ability to build trusting relationships with client engagement staff and internal stakeholders;">
