X-Ray Imaging Specialist

The role of Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech requires a dedicated professional to join our dynamic healthcare team in Donelson, TN.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual who can provide excellent patient care and support to the medical staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, activating patient files, and providing timely follow-up regarding lab and x-ray results.

• Promptly greet patients when entering waiting areas, exam rooms, and laboratory or x-ray rooms.
• Communicate with patients on wait times and provide direction to the next step in the treatment process.
• Provide solutions to patient problems and recognize emergent/hazardous situations.
• Execute follow-up calls with a sense of urgency.
• Assist front desk personnel with patient check-in/out procedures as needed.
• Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs and weight, take brief history, past medical, family, and social history, current medications, allergies, and other pertinent historical information.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures directly supervised by the provider.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience
• Valid State License to perform X-Rays
• BLS Certification required
