We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction to the next step in the treatment process.
- Provide solutions to patient problems and recognize emergent/hazardous situations.
- Timely follow up regarding lab and x-ray results.
- Assist front desk personnel with patient check-in/out procedures.
- Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs, weight, brief history, past medical, family, and social history, current medications, allergies, and other pertinent information.
- Assist with patient transfers and procedures directly supervised by the provider.
- Maintain examination rooms and stock supplies as needed.
- Adhere to infection control/safety guidelines and patient confidentiality policies.
