Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

The role of Radiology/Limited X-Ray Technologist is a vital part of our diagnostic imaging team. This position involves performing timely radiology procedures to enable subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physicians. In addition, it requires the preparation of patients for radiologic procedures and adherence to established clinical and regulatory procedures regarding patient safety and care.

Responsibilities include ensuring that equipment is in proper working order, reporting any malfunctions to the relevant personnel, and maintaining current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment. Furthermore, this position necessitates maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with support from external educational resources.

Requirements for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent education based on certification type, as well as skills in Medical Assisting. Additionally, a Tennessee state X-Ray license and/or ARRT certification are necessary.
