Radiology AssistantThe Radiology Assistant will work closely with medical professionals to prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensure the quality of images obtained. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a basic understanding of medical terminology and imaging principles.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing patients for radiologic procedures
- Maintain equipment in proper working order and report any malfunctions
- Follow established clinical and regulatory procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education based on certification type; skills in Medical Assisting are required
- Tennessee state X-Ray license, and/or ARRT, is required
