According to the principles and practices of physical therapy, patient assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation are critical components.
">The interdisciplinary team works together to develop functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations. Developing, improving, and restoring functional mobility to return patients to their highest level of independence is a primary objective. Seeking clarification of physician orders as needed ensures that treatment plans are effective and appropriate.
">Key Responsibilities:
">Responding to physician orders for physical therapy, administering and interpreting tests and measurements of patients, reviewing patient charts and progress prior to treatment, and modifying treatment plans accordingly are essential tasks.
">Requirements:
">A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required. 2 years of experience as a practicing PT in a healthcare setting is preferred. State licensure is also necessary.
