LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Outpatient Substance Use Counselor for a local contract job in Nashville, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Substance Use Counselor Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/28/2025 Duration: 52 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings, flexible Employment Type: Local Contract Position: Substance Abuse Therapist / Licensed Therapist - LMSW (TN only) Type: Full Time, On-site Locations: Multiple locations in Tennessee (TN) Purpose: Provide counseling services to maintain patient care within the Center, creating a safe and balanced environment for patients. Key Duties: Work within a multidisciplinary team. Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention and individual counseling. Maintain accurate patient documentation. Coordinate care with medical professionals. Requirements: Education: Master of Social Work (LMSW - TN only). Experience: Experience with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Certifications: CPR and First Aid. Physical and Emotional Demands: Sedentary and ambulant work with occasional physical exertion. Ability to communicate effectively and handle stressful situations. Risk of exposure to infections; follow "Universal Precautions." Competencies: Accurate patient file maintenance. Comprehensive patient assessments. Clinical services and patient advocacy. Regular attendance and adherence to company standards. Continuing Education: Participate in mandatory educational programs and maintain professional certifications.
