C# Software Developer (R&D)

Join us in creating smart software that connects hardware and PCs seamlessly. You'll develop test system applications, solve technical challenges, and ensure smooth communication between electronic modules and DRÄXLMAIER systems. If you enjoy building innovative solutions and working in a collaborative environment, this role is for you

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software applications for specific test systems, ensuring connectivity between hardware modules and PCs.
• Implement computer programs based on predefined specifications and integrate them into relevant systems, including testing for compliance.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety guidelines and current technological regulations within your area of responsibility.
• Prepare and deliver software to production plants and testing facilities.
• Develop high‑quality, maintainable code in C# / .NET (8 or greater) and WPF, following best practices in object‑oriented programming and Windows development (multi‑threading, security).
• Analyze and resolve software-related issues, including function tests, customer complaints, and module testing.
• Maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation and version control (Azure DevOps/GIT, PTC Integrity).
• Work closely with hardware, mechatronics, testers and global teams to deliver integrated solutions

Your Profile:

• University degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with 2 to 3 years of experience in software development
• Advanced knowledge of PC standard interfaces.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and Windows concepts (multi-threading, security)
• Experience with unit testing, test plan processing, and documentation.
• Good experience in C# / .NET and WPF development
• Proven track record in Azure DevOps/GIT
• Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
  
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools
