Job Title:  Merchandising Coordinator - Australia/New Zealand (Night Shift)

Location: Tunis, Tunisia

Reporting to: Merchandising Manager or Senior Merchandising Manager

Overview of Role:

The Merchandising Coordinator supports the Merchandising team in driving sales, optimizing product assortments, and enhancing the overall online shopping experience across global markets. This role is critical in executing day-to-day merchandising needs, ensuring product accuracy, and supporting category strategies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, collaborative, and eager to grow within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Merchandising & Site Execution

  • Support and execute merchandising strategy across assigned categories and markets (NA, EU, and others as applicable).
  • Assist in curated product lists, seasonal themes, and collections in partnership with site merchandising.
  • QA all new product introductions to ensure SKUs are merchandised on the correct pages with accurate imagery, copy, and pricing.
  • Ensure proper product categorization, attribution, and site optimization to drive conversion and SEO alignment.
  • Review category and landing pages to confirm accurate representation of products (pricing, photography, product details, eco substantiation).

Product Lifecycle

  • Submit batch tickets to initiate new product introductions (NPI), partnering with the 3PF team to ensure product attribute enrichment and provide features and benefits for copy.

  • Partner with Product Data Management team and Merchandising Managers to support timely product launches through trackers and weekly meetings.

  • Manage product database and associated attributes, ensuring accurate data and tracking of eco-compliant products.

  • Adhere to Product Development and Quarterly Marketing Planning calendars and support deadlines a with internal and external partners to meet key deliverables for new product introductions each quarter.

Analysis & Insights

  • Conduct competitive and gap analysis to identify assortment opportunities.

  • Generate product performance reports to track KPIs and identify optimization opportunities in collaboration with Merchandising Managers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Submit and track PIM/Jira tickets to resolve product data issues quickly and accurately.
  • Communicate product assortments and updates to cross-functional partners via visual merchandising boards and other tools.

Industry & Trend Awareness

  • Stay current on industry and consumer trends through competitor shopping, social media, search interest, and trade shows.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in eCommerce and/or Merchandising.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate into recommendations.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with PIM systems and Jira preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficiency in at least one European language is preferred for roles supporting European market.
  • Genuine interest in retail, eCommerce, and/or promotional products industry.
