Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reconciliation Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for reconciling financial trading data, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining high standards of precision in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of financial transactions, and basic coding skills. Prior experience in financial reconciliations is preferred.

The Reconciliation Analyst will play an active role in projects aimed at introducing new reconciliations into a reconciliation tool and migrating existing reconciliations to this system.

Key Responsibilities:

· Reconcile financial trading data, ensuring all discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly.

· Ensure accuracy and completeness of data within reconciliation processes.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trading products, financial transactions, and reconciliation practices.

· Participate in projects to introduce new reconciliations into the reconciliation tool.

· Assist with the migration of current reconciliations to the new reconciliation tool, ensuring a smooth transition.

· Collaborate with internal teams, including traders, operations, and IT, to ensure data integrity and resolve reconciliation issues.

· Provide regular reports on reconciliation statuses, highlighting discrepancies and their resolution.

· Continuously improve reconciliation processes for efficiency and accuracy.

· Adhere to internal controls and compliance regulations in all reconciliation activities.

· Adherence to robust compliance and reporting requirements.

· Preparation of Management Information (MI).

Key Skills & Qualifications:

· Prior experience in financial reconciliations or a related financial operations role is preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring data accuracy.

· Basic coding knowledge (e.g., Python, SQL, or VBA) to assist in automating and improving reconciliation processes.

· Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and resolve issues.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with reconciliation tools or financial systems is a plus.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

· Knowledge of financial products such as equities, derivatives, and fixed income is desirable.
