At VistaPrint Tunis, we support a growing workforce of approximately 1,200 employees and play a key role in delivering accurate and compliant payroll operations within a global environment. Our team works closely with HR and cross-functional partners to ensure payroll processes run smoothly and reliably.
We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist who will be at the heart of our operations to own the end-to-end payroll process for our Tunisia-based employees. Reporting to the Controllership, this role is responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy, data integrity, and timely execution, while supporting audits, reporting, and employee inquiries. The Payroll Specialist will be a trusted partner across teams, contributing to operational excellence and a positive employee experience . They will be responsible for the essential functions below.
- Record and maintain accurate files of all payroll records, payroll-related data and paid time off—using these to prepare month end and ad hoc reporting as requested
- Verify setup data migrated from HRDM for new and current employees and use this data to input, set up and/or change Payroll-related data to ensure accuracy
- Gather and retrieve data to be audited and be available to answer questions and retrieve additional data as required
- Must be able to run queries for leave accruals to resolve hours for calculation of and adjustment to leave accruals.
- Reconciles benefit withholding to statements and make necessary corrections
- Conduct employee employment and salary verification reports
- Prepare payroll and salary related correspondence for employees as requested
- Respond to payroll or paycheck-related questions from employees or forward to appropriate team member and advise HR to answer inquires.
- 5 years' experience in a payroll environment, ideally working with SAGE or a similar payroll system
- Solid knowledge of payroll practices and procedures as well as accounting processes such as encumbrance and/or payroll tax filing and reconciliation
- Establish rapport with internal stakeholders and maintain positive relationship with external collaborators
- Exposure to working with a Human Resource data management (HRDM)
- Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship leadership skills with the proven track record to work in a dynamic environment
- University degree in accounting or finance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Experience working in a multinational environment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
