The DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle and ensuring secure, automated, and efficient delivery of IAM solutions and services. This role bridges development, operations, and security, supporting our client's projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure CI/CD Pipeline:
The DevSecOps Engineer designs, implements, and maintains CI/CD pipelines with a strong focus on security automation. They integrate tools for vulnerability scanning, code quality, and compliance checks to ensure that security is enforced at every stage of the delivery process.
- Security by Design in Development:
The DevSecOps Engineer embeds secure coding practices, threat modeling, and automated testing into the product lifecycle. They act as a bridge between developers and security experts to ensure IAM solutions meet the highest security standards.
- Infrastructure & Cloud Security:
The role involves managing secure cloud and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.), implementing infrastructure-as-code, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Continuous monitoring and remediation of vulnerabilities are key responsibilities.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
The DevSecOps Engineer partners with consulting and operations teams to align client project needs with secure deployment practices. They also mentor developers and consultants on DevSecOps principles, fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 4 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps, preferably within IT security or IAM domains.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) and security automation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with IAM technologies and security standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, Zero Trust).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management, threat modeling, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
