OUR PARTNER SCHOOL IS SEEKING A HISTORY TEACHER TO START IMMEDIATELY

THE SCHOOL IS A UK CURRICULUM SCHOOL LOCATED WITHIN TUNIS

Plan and deliver the teaching in line with the National Curriculum.

â Regularly assess and report on pupilsâ progress in line with Department for Education and the

schoolâs policies and procedures.

â Keep up-to-date with current pedagogy and statutory government requirements

â Plan lessons carefully with regard to the safety and well-being of pupils

â Teach and administer classes so as to maximize the learning opportunities provided for each

pupil within those classes, including regularly setting and marking pupilsâ work and organizing outside

trips and visitors to the school to support and enhance pupilsâ learning;

â Lesson planning

â Participate in arrangements for further training and professional development as required

â Behavior management

Requirements

A Subject degree from a reputable institution

â Proof of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred

â Candidates must have recent experience of IGCSE and A level (our examination board is CIE)

â Experience of IGCSE's in at least one subject (more would be an advantage)

â Experience in teaching their subject to a range of levels

â Experience of teaching in the UK or at a British International School overseas

â Experience of specialism to A-Level and /or BTEC

â Flexibility and confidence to teach outside of specialism at Key Stage 3

â Willingness to add their own ideas and experiences to our after-school activities

â Passionate about working and learning from a highly motivated group of multilingual learners.
