Position Overview:
 

We are currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to lead, coordinate, and sustain all Continuous Improvement activities at the plant level. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the CI Coordinator plays a key role in promoting a performance‑driven culture by deploying Lean, Six Sigma, and Best Practices across operations, in alignment with Group standards and strategic objectives.

 

 

Main Missions: 

 

  • Lead and coordinate Continuous Improvement activities at plant level in line with Group Operational Excellence standards, reporting to the Plant Manager.
  • Manage and develop the CI team, ensuring clear objectives, competence development, and effective execution of CI initiatives.
  • Drive a Continuous Improvement culture across production and support functions (Cutting, Sewing, Assembly, Logistics, Quality).
  • Plan and lead Kaizen events and CI projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
  • Identify and eliminate waste using Lean, Six Sigma, and Best Practices, delivering measurable performance and financial gains.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional improvement teams to optimize manufacturing flow, material management, and labor efficiency.
  • Deploy CI tools and standards in alignment with the Global CI network.
  • Ensure CI training and capability building at all organizational levels.
  • Implement and sustain Visual Management standards and ensure structured CI reporting to Plant and Group.
  • Support compliance and continuous improvement related to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.

 

 

To be successful for this role :

 

  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management (or equivalent).
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and follow up improvement initiatives.
  • Industrial experience, preferably in the automotive sector, ideally within manufacturing environments such as trims, seat covers, textiles, or similar products.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.

 

Language Skills:

 

 

  • Good communication skills in both French and English
