Dimensional Lab Technician
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of metrology principles and measurement techniques
- Proven understanding of dimensional measurement methods and tools
- Familiarity with calibration standards, procedures, and measurement system requirements
- Basic analytical skills for evaluating measurement results and identifying deviations
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional measurements of components in accordance with defined standards and drawings
- Conduct specialized measurements, including force/travel testing, optical inspections, X-ray analysis, and electrical testing as required
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of laboratory measurement equipment to guarantee reliable results
- Support molding tool validation activities (AMPB), including initial sampling, capability checks, and documentation of results
- Analyze measurement data, identify deviations, and report non-conformities to relevant stakeholders
- Support calibration activities by coordinating equipment checks, tracking calibration status, and ensuring compliance with schedules
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the dimensional laboratory
