Position Purpose:
The Delivery & Quality Clinic Engineer leads the Delivery & Quality Clinic activities to ensure rapid containment, robust root cause analysis and effective corrective actions for scrap, quality, and delivery issues.
The role coordinates customer, internal and supplier escapes in line with QAP-870-01.
Reports to: Quality Manager
Key Responsibilities
* Leads scrap reviews and prioritizes high-cost and repetitive issues.
* Ensures containment actions are implemented within 24 hours.
* Drives RRCA using standard problem-solving tools .
* Owns and monitors customer scorecards (quality, delivery, responsiveness).
* Tracks cycle time, aging and corrective action effectiveness.
* Escalates overdue or ineffective actions to management.
* Prepares weekly and monthly KPIs presentations for management reviews.
* Audit and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
* Promote a problem-solving and zero-defect mindset across the organization.
* Support awareness training for new and existing employees in coordination with Engineering/HR. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
* Scrap cost/rate reduction
* Containment lead time (≤ 24h)
* % corrective actions closed on time
* RRCA cycle time and aging Technical Skills
* Root cause analysis & problem-solving tools (8D, 5Why’s, 4 Blockers,..)
* Scrap analysis and cost impact evaluation
* Quality documentation and audits Behavioural Skills
* Structured, data-driven mindset
* Excellent communication and escalation skills
* Ability to challenge constructively and drive accountability Education & Experience
* Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or equivalent)
* Experience in quality, manufacturing, or operational excellence
* Strong exposure to IATF 16949/ AS9100 / ISO 9001 environments
