Job Description
The Customs & Transit Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all customs and transit activities through the company's external customs service provider. The role ensures timely customs clearance of imports and exports, compliance with local and international regulations, accurate documentation, and effective communication between internal stakeholders, logistics partners, and customs authorities through the appointed broker. The Customs & Transit CoordinatorServe as the primary point of contact between the company and the external customs broker/transit agent. Qualifications
• Degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customs, logistics, freight forwarding, or international trade.
• Strong understanding of customs procedures and import/export regulations.
• Experience coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities.
• Knowledge of ERP and customs-related software systems.
• Fluency in English and French
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
