Head Of English Localisation: Tunis Contract : SIVP, CDD, CDI Job Summary The Head of English is responsible for leading and managing the English department within the school. This role involves overseeing the development and delivery of the English curriculum, managing a team of English teachers, and ensuring the quality of English language education within the institution.

Key Responsibilities
• Curriculum Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive and effective English curriculum that aligns with educational standards and objectives.
• Teacher Leadership: Lead, support, and evaluate English teachers, providing guidance and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching quality.
• Student Achievement: Monitor and analyze student progress in English, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance student achievement.
• Resource Management: Manage departmental resources, including textbooks, educational materials, and technology, to support effective teaching and learning.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Implement assessment strategies and evaluation processes to measure student performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Parent and Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain open communication with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress, departmental initiatives, and school goals.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other department heads and school leadership to promote a cohesive and well-rounded educational program.
• Professional Development: Stay current with educational trends and best practices in English teaching, attending professional development opportunities as needed. Qualifications
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Teaching certification and a minimum of [5] years of teaching experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English language instruction and curriculum development. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a leadership or department head role.
