Expert YouTube Editor — French

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled, creative, and detail-oriented Expert YouTube Editor to join our YouTube team. This role is designed for a top-tier video editor who is fluent in French and has professional working proficiency in English, with strong experience editing high-production, long-form YouTube content. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into dynamic, engaging, and high-retention videos ranging from 15 to 30 minutes, working closely with our Lead YouTube Editor. The ideal candidate has a strong command of pacing, storytelling, visual effects, motion graphics, and audio post-production, and is comfortable working on content related to pop culture, history, geography, gaming, and society. About You
• Fluent in French — mandatory
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• Experience with Adobe Podcast and/or Adobe Audition
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention
• Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, maps, animations, and visual callouts
• Passion for long-form YouTube content and complex creative projects
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high production standards
• Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working as part of a creative team
• Knowledge of 3D animation software is a strong plus Main Responsibilities
• Edit and polish 15–30 minute long-form YouTube videos
• Build strong narratives while maintaining pacing and viewer retention
• Create custom motion graphics, lower thirds, visual effects, and graphic packages
• Produce map, historical, and other explanatory animations
• Clean and enhance voiceovers and dialogue
• Design soundscapes and balance music for emotional impact
• Work primarily on French-language content, with occasional English projects
• Collaborate with the Lead YouTube Editor throughout the post-production process
• Deliver polished, high-quality videos according to production timelines Compensation & Benefits
• Base monthly fee: USD $800
• Quarterly performance bonus: up to USD $300

• Payments made via ACH or Wire Transfer
