Junior VAT Officer

We are looking for a Junior VAT Officer (M/F) to join our teams. The job:
- Preparation of VAT returns for national and international clients from various sectors (financial companies, commercial companies);
- Follow-up of filling deadlines;
- Assistance to our clients on a day-to-day basis on various VAT queries (notably for VAT registration and deregistration, VAT audit or simple VAT advice).

Your profile
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Solid understanding of basic accounting and tax principles, particularly VAT rules (scope of application, right to deduct, territoriality, etc.). Candidates are not expected to be specialists in all areas, but should have a sound grasp of the fundamental mechanisms. Previous experience in a similar role would be considered an asset. Good command of Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of advanced Excel functions, formulas, VBA, or data analysis tools would be a strong advantage. Good working knowledge of French is required, as part of the local team operates in French. Strong command of English is mandatory, as most client communications, deliverables, and working documents are prepared and exchanged in English. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
