Role Description As a Part-time Fullstack Backend Engineer (Freelance) based in Tunisia, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of artikle’s backend services and APIs that power real-time sales intent delivery. You will implement and maintain scalable server-side logic, integrate external data sources, and collaborate on front-end integration to ensure a smooth, reliable user experience. Day-to-day activities include writing clean, maintainable code, reviewing and testing features, troubleshooting issues in production, and contributing to technical documentation and code quality standards. You will work closely with product and engineering team members to refine requirements and deliver secure, performant solutions. This is a hybrid role located in Tunis, with flexibility for some work from home, and is structured as a part-time freelance engagement with compensation of 1000 TND per month. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development for building and maintaining scalable, secure server-side applications.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming concepts for designing robust, modular, and maintainable code.
• Experience with Front-End Development sufficient to integrate APIs, support fullstack workflows, and collaborate effectively with frontend engineers.
• Hands-on experience with modern backend frameworks, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments, CI/CD practices, and version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work independently in a freelance capacity, manage part-time schedules, and communicate clearly with a distributed team.
• Based in Tunisia, with availability to work in a hybrid mode from Tunis and remotely as required.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial; prior experience with AI-driven or data-intensive platforms is a plus.
