NextGen Group is a full-stack AI consultancy with 13+ years in market and a strong base across the Gulf/MENA region. We are looking for a Solution Architect who owns the technical design of AI platforms deployed inside real client environments.

Location:
Tunis-based, with regular travel to Dubai (and UK on demand). Strong performers get the opportunity to relocate to Dubai after their first few months. This is a hands-on architecture role, not a documentation one. You will be in client rooms, in code reviews, and in security assessments. WHAT YOU WILL DO ● Design end-to-end architecture for AI platforms covering data, retrieval, model access, application and integration layers. ● Decide how AI actually fits a given problem, including where it should not be used. Establish where deterministic logic belongs and where model reasoning belongs and make that boundary defensible to a client. ● Design for the deployment environment rather than in the abstract. Client cloud, sovereign infrastructure, air-gapped or hybrid, with residency, network isolation and identity federation designed in from the start. ● Own the integration approach into client systems, including ERP, CRM, HR, finance, document repositories and line-of-business platforms. ● Design the governance layer: classification-driven routing, permission-aware retrieval, grounding, citation, audit and human oversight. ● Take architecture through client security and compliance review and hold the position under scrutiny. ● Work alongside engineers through delivery, reviewing implementation against the design and adjusting where reality demands it. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ● Substantial experience designing and delivering enterprise systems, with recent depth in AI or data platforms. ● Fluency with cloud platforms, at least one of AWS, Azure or GCP at architecture level, including identity, networking and security services. ● Practical understanding of how large language models are deployed in production: retrieval, grounding, evaluation, orchestration across models, and the failure modes that matter. ● Strong integration background. Connecting systems that were never designed to talk to each other is most of the work. ● Ability to hold a technical position in front of a client's security function, and to change it when they are right. ● Comfortable being wrong in public and correcting quickly. WHAT WOULD DISTINGUISH A CANDIDATE ● Minimum 4 Years of experience ● Experience in regulated or government environments where data residency, auditability and evidencing decisions are requirements rather than preferences. ● A track record of systems that were adopted rather than delivered, which are different outcomes. ● Arabic language capability, given the client base. BENEFITS ● Will be moved to Dubai based on the performance displayed To apply : Send your CV to hr@nextgentechs.io
