Aquila Engineering supports major operators and drilling contractors worldwide, with more than 30 rigs and over 100,000 hours of real-time monitoring. Role Description The Unity Software Engineer
- C# will design, develop, and maintain interactive software solutions that support Aquila Engineering’s real-time monitoring and analytics platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing Unity-based applications, writing clean and efficient C# code, integrating backend services and data streams, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to translate complex operational requirements into intuitive user experiences. The role involves troubleshooting and optimizing performance, ensuring reliability and scalability of features, and contributing to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Sfax, requiring close collaboration with multidisciplinary technical teams. Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with advanced skills in C# and Unity engine.
- Experience in Software Development practices, including version control, testing, debugging, and continuous integration.
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts, APIs, and data integration with real-time or high-availability systems.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience building interactive applications, dashboards, or visualization tools, ideally in industrial or engineering contexts.
- Ability to work on-site in Sfax, collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly in English.
- Familiarity with real-time data processing, cloud platforms, or industrial control systems is a plus.
