Role Description
The Software Quality Assurance Intern is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the testing and quality assurance of web and mobile applications. Day-to-day tasks include designing and executing test cases, documenting test results, identifying and reporting defects, and assisting with regression and integration testing. The intern will collaborate with senior developers and product teams to understand requirements, ensure adherence to quality standards, and help improve testing processes. The role may also involve using testing tools, contributing to test documentation, and participating in team meetings and reviews.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Software Quality and Software Quality Assurance, with an interest in best practices and industry standards.
- Ability to create, execute, and maintain Test Cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Analytical Skills to troubleshoot issues, interpret results, and provide clear, structured feedback to the team.
- Basic understanding of Quality Assurance processes, SDLC, and agile or iterative development methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug tracking or project management tools (e.g Jira) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages and test automation concepts is a plus.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Availability of at least 15 hours a week.
