Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients and activating their files
  • Communicating wait times and providing directions
  • Providing solutions to patient problems and recognizing/emerging/hazardous situations
  • Executing follow-up calls with a sense of urgency
  • Assisting front desk personnel with check-in/out procedures
  • Obtaining and documenting patient vital signs and weight

You will also be responsible for assisting with procedures supervised by the provider, lab procedures under supervision, and preparing patients for radiologic procedures while following established clinical and regulatory procedures.
