Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to medical staff.
This dynamic role involves greeting patients, activating their files, and ensuring timely follow-up regarding lab and x-ray results. Medical Assistants are responsible for executing follow-up calls with urgency, assisting front desk personnel with check-in/out procedures when necessary, and obtaining patient vital signs and weight. They also assist with patient transfers, procedures directly supervised by the provider, and lab procedures under supervision.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, and valid State License to perform X-Rays. Additionally, they should hold a Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
