Regional Procurement Coordinator

The African Development Bank is seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Financial Management Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the Fiduciary and Inspection Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the Bank's procurement activities are compliant with its policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve the Bank's objectives
• Review and clear procurement diagnostic assessment reports
• Provide advice on procurement arrangements and review procurement decisions
• Contribute to the preparation of the Bank's Country Strategy Paper
• Build procurement capacity of Borrowers through training and advisory services

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Public/Business Administration, Law, Procurement, Economics or related fields
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in procurement and financial management
• Proven experience in supervising and managing development projects and programs
• Excellent consulting and advisory skills
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in French and English
