We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Development Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be involved in every phase of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through release in production.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure consistency across architecture, implementation, and testability.
  • Designing, developing, testing, supporting, and maintaining decoding applications (feedhandlers).
  • Contributing to and improving our processes to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Writing unit tests and test scenarios based on requirements and ensuring monitoring of test execution in CI.
  • Participating proactively in team meetings, kick-off sessions, and retrospectives to share suggestions and implement improvements.
  • Ensuring the quality of all deliveries by identifying, logging, and tracking software defects.
  • Working on internal documentation and participating in support meetings as needed.
  • Ensuring proper use of tools, configuring, using, and managing test environments and data feeds on dedicated servers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise and functional knowledge in financial data and our toolset, working on different types of Feedhandlers (cash/derivatives, multicast/TCP, FAST, etc.) and managing complex market migrations.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should possess:

  • A degree in Software Engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in software development (C++), and a proven track record of leading small teams of engineers.
  • A strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and good collaboration and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with command-line tools (Shell, Linux).
  • Fluency in both English and French (spoken & written). Functional knowledge in finance and Agile methodology is desirable.
