Senior Community-Based Protection Advocate

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community-Based Protection Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with communities of concern, identifying risks and leveraging capacities to protect themselves, their families, and communities.
The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in community-based protection and strong interpersonal skills. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to take a written test.
Job Description:- Assist functional units and senior management to integrate participatory and community-based approaches in the overall protection strategy.
- Through relationships with PoC and network of partners, stay abreast of political, social, economic, and cultural developments that have an impact on the protection environment and provide advice to the protection team.
- Understand the perspectives, capacities, needs, and resources of the PoC and advise the protection team accordingly, highlighting the specific protection needs of women and men, children, youth, and older persons, persons with disabilities, marginalized groups.
- Essential: 2 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or 1 year of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Desirable: UNHCR learning programs (PLP), Knowledge of MSRP.
