Radiology Medical Assistant
">Main Responsibilities:
">Greet patients and activate patient files.Communicate with patients on wait times and provide direction to the next step in the treatment process.Provide solutions to patient problems and recognize emergent/hazardous situations.Follow up with patients regarding lab and x-ray results.Assist front desk personnel with patient check-in/out procedures when necessary.Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs and weight.Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensure proper radiation protection and shielding techniques.Maintain examination rooms and stock supplies as needed.Adhere to infection control/safety guidelines and patient confidentiality policies.">Requirements:
">High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience.Valid State License to perform X-Rays.BLS Certification required.">Benefits:
