Medical Support Specialist

The Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities include greeting patients, activating patient files, and providing solutions to patient problems.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Medical Assistant and a valid State License to perform X-Rays.
A BLS Certification is also required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Promptly greet patients when entering waiting area, exam room, and laboratory or x-ray room.
- Consistently communicate with patients on wait times; provides direction to the next step in the treatment process.
- Provide timely follow-up regarding lab and x-ray results.
- Execute follow-up calls with sense of urgency.
The Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech will also assist front desk personnel with patient check in/out procedures when necessary.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience.
