As a Product Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for driving innovation and ensuring excellence in the automotive world. This is an exciting opportunity to shape standards and make a real impact on product safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key contact person within your area of expertise, cooperating with internal working groups and external customers.
• Create internal publications and present as required, communicating effectively with colleagues.
• Recognize the need for continuing education in your field and plan and conduct internal and external training on complex topics.
• Support in determining and optimizing internal standards and processes within your area of expertise, monitoring quality processes and implementing corrective measures.
• Observe and identify trends in your area of expertise, developing concepts and suggesting recommendations for action.
• Conduct mainly conceptual activities within your area of expertise, providing operational support to organizational units.
• Lead problem-solving teams in applying Six Sigma methods and define requirements for reporting on process optimization.
• Secure definition, implementation, and monitoring of processes worldwide, leading special projects in the area of process safety.

Requirements:

• Engineer degree in a technical field with 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Proficient in problem-solving and process optimization, with knowledge of IATF16949 Basic Training.
• Strong understanding of problem-solving methods and product liability, with excellent English or German speaking and writing skills.
• Mastery of office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and a proactive mindset as a problem-solver.
