An IAM/GRC/Cybersecurity Consultant/Project manager is a hybrid role that blends technical IAM expertise, strong understanding for techncial solutions, and project leadership to oversee the design, implementation, and management of Identity and Access Management services and solutions. The role involves translating business needs into IAM strategies, design & concepts, business processes, managing project timelines and resources, and ensuring projects are delivered with the required quality, on time and within budget while aligning with security best practices and compliance regulations and requirements. 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities to capture IAM requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. 
  • Develop functional and technical concepts, IAM functional architectures, and solution designs, contributing to structured planning and coordinated delivery of IAM initiatives. 
  • Conduct market analysis and technology benchmarking to help steer strategic choices and long-term IAM roadmaps. 
  • Design IAM frameworks, methodologies, and governance models, ensuring consistency and clarity across processes and implementation phases. 
  • Prepare and document business cases, use cases, and end-to-end scenarios, supporting effective planning and prioritization of IAM activities. 
  • Supporting in the management of one or more complex IAM projects, including planning, scheduling, project staffing and resource management, and quality assurance using formal project management techniques and protocols. 
  • Contribute to SGRC topics, including IAM strategy, governance structures, risk evaluation, compliance requirements, and policy development. 
  • Participate in technical concept validation, quality assurance, and testing activities, ensuring that deliverables meet expectations and follow established standards. 
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder alignment, and cross-team coordination 
  • Maintaining clear communication, managing expectations, and supporting the smooth progression of IAM engagements.

Required skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, engage stakeholders, and deliver clear presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to mentor, train, and guide team members and client stakeholders, contributing to capability building and knowledge transfer.
  • Goal-oriented and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in multicultural and multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Strong proficiency in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to produce professional analysis, reports, and executive-ready presentations.
  • Ability to manage complex initiatives, including planning, scheduling, coordination of resources, and ensuring quality of deliverables.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, managing expectations, and coordinating dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Good familiarity with client projects, across different industries and organizational environments.
  • Experience writing and understanding SQL statements for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization models within Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), SAP, Sharepoint, EBS, or any other widely used business application.
  • Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance standards and regulations, such as GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST frameworks, and similar industry or regulatory standards, and an understanding of how they impact IAM and access governance practices.

Nice to have

  • Previus knowledge in IAM (IGA, PAM, Access Management) or Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile). 
  • Previous experience with SGRC (Strategy, Governance, Risk, Compliance).
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP systems, to understand role structures and integration points with IAM. 
  • Prior experience in complex enterprise environments or large-scale IAM projects. 
  • Familiarity with advanced IAM tools or cloud solutions beyond core experience. 

Profile 

  • 4–5+ years in IT, cybersecurity, business analysis, or related consulting roles; some exposure to IAM is a plus but not mandatory. 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. 
  • Eager to learn new IAM technologies, frameworks, and best practices. 
  • Ability to understand business processes, analyze data, and translate requirements into solutions. 
  • Comfortable interacting with stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and presenting solutions. 
  • Ability to collaborate with international teams and clients. 
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently or within a team.
