Senior DevOps Engineer

At K-LAGAN, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the automation, reliability, and security of our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud environments, and collaborate closely with development and data engineering teams to ensure high availability and seamless deployments. Key position condition: Position to support Spain remotely from Tunisia under a Contractor agreement, working on a full-time schedule aligned with Tunisia's time zone. 🎯

Key Responsibilities
• Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure: Design, provision, and maintain secure, highly available cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• CI/CD Automation: Build, scale, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and monitor containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) to guarantee maximum resilience and zero-downtime deployments.
• Monitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack to proactively identify performance bottlenecks.
• Security & Compliance (DevSecOps): Integrate automated security testing, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and regulatory compliance controls (GDPR, DORA, ISO 27001) into deployment workflows.
• Disaster Recovery & High Availability: Design and validate robust backup, replication, failover, and disaster recovery (DR) mechanisms in multi-region cloud configurations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside developers, data engineers, and security teams in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) to streamline the software delivery lifecycle. 📋 Main Requirements & Qualifications

Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience in Senior DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Cloud Engineer roles.
• Cloud Platform Mastery: Deep production experience with AWS or Azure native services and architecture.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced expertise with Terraform or OpenTofu for enterprise cloud infrastructure management.
• Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash/Shell, or Go for automation and tool integration.
• Container Ecosystem: Solid hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and Service Mesh concepts.
• Languages: Advanced / Fluent English (C1 level required), both spoken and written, for daily collaboration in international environments.

• Official cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, or CKA / CKAD).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
