The Growth Marketing Specialist (Paid & SEO) is responsible for building and running paid campaigns from scratch, with a strong focus on Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, and for supporting on-page SEO across the Cedar Rose website. The role covers the full campaign cycle: planning, copywriting, launch, testing, and optimisation, with the goal of generating qualified B2B pipeline.
This role is suited to professionals who are hands-on, analytical, and eager to learn. Greater weight is placed on practical campaign experience, structured testing, and a growth mindset than on a specific industry background.
Key Responsibilities
1. Paid Campaign Build & Launch
• Build Google Ads campaigns from scratch (Search, Display, YouTube), including account structure, keyword themes, match types, negative keyword lists, and audience layers.
• Build LinkedIn Ads campaigns from scratch (Sponsored Content, Lead Gen Forms, Message Ads), with targeting by job title, seniority, industry, and company lists.
• Write ad copy, headlines, and CTAs for each funnel stage on both platforms.
• Brief designers on creative formats and sizes. 2. Testing, Optimisation & Budget Management
• Run structured A/B tests on audiences, messaging, creatives, offers, and landing pages, with one clear variable and a defined success metric per test.
• Manage Smart Bidding on Google (Target CPA, Maximize Conversions) and switch to manual control when conversion volume or data quality requires it.
• Manage LinkedIn bidding and budgets (manual vs. maximum delivery), and monitor frequency, audience size, and CPL to avoid fatigue and wasted spend.
• Optimise weekly on search terms, placements, bids, budgets, and audience exclusions.
• Run retargeting and account-based audiences from CRM lists and site visitors. 3. On-Page SEO Support
• Optimise page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and content structure on key website pages.
• Run keyword research and map keywords to pages.
• Audit existing pages and fix technical on-page issues such as page speed, indexation, and schema.
• Work with content writers to brief and optimise articles and landing pages for search.
• Track rankings, organic traffic, and conversions in GA4 and Google Search Console. 4. Conversion, Tracking & Reporting
• Set up and maintain conversion tracking, UTMs, and offline conversion imports from HubSpot.
• Improve landing pages, forms, and CTAs to lift conversion from click to lead to demo.
• Report on CPL, cost per qualified lead, CAC, conversion rates, and pipeline influenced by paid.
• Document every test and result, and scale the winners. 5. Team Contribution & Professional Conduct
• Work with sales to review lead quality and improve targeting and messaging.
• Apply feedback from the Marketing Manager and wider team to improve output.
• Share learnings across the team so winning angles are reused in email, content, and SEO.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle company and campaign data responsibly.
• Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and professional conduct in all internal and external communications. Required Skills
• Hands-on experience with Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, including Smart Bidding and audience targeting.
• Ability to own a campaign end to end, from planning and copywriting to launch and optimisation.
• Strong understanding of ad testing and optimisation, with examples of tests that improved results.
• Working knowledge of on-page SEO and tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush, or Ahrefs.
• Strong command of GA4, HubSpot (or a similar CRM), and conversion tracking setup.
• Analytical mindset, with comfort in funnel metrics, A/B testing, and spreadsheets.
• Good copywriting instincts for ads and landing pages.
• Growth mindset: eager to learn, quick to adapt, and comfortable trying new tools and channels.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work within deadlines. Experience & Education
• 3+ years in paid media or growth marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or business services.
• A university degree is preferred, but the field of study is not limited. Practical campaign experience and proven results may be considered more important.
• The following are an advantage, but not mandatory: o Experience marketing to banks, financial institutions, or compliance and risk buyers. o Knowledge of MEA markets and multi-country campaigns. o Arabic. o Experience with retargeting, ABM, or programmatic.
