The role We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to lead one of two product teams at a European enterprise client. The role combines deep technical execution with solution design responsibility. You will make sure the team ships scalable, secure and user-centric cloud-native applications on AWS. You will work closely with client stakeholders, so strong communication skills matter as much as high engineering standards. What you will do
- Lead and support one product team as a hands-on Tech Lead
- Split and structure project work, review code, select design patterns and help developers deliver high-quality user stories
- Contribute actively to development in a cloud-native AWS environment using TypeScript
- Design and build frontend applications with React, Next.js and Tailwind-based frameworks
- Implement backend services in Node.js/TypeScript for ETL, ML workflows and risk insights
- Architect and maintain REST APIs with secure authentication (OAuth/OIDC, HMAC patterns)
- Ensure security and compliance with IAM/CIAM policies, TLS/KMS encryption and audit logging
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab Flow Must-have skills
- Frontend: React, Next.js, Flowbite CSS with TypeScript
- Backend: Node.js/TypeScript, REST API design
- Hands-on AWS: Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, IAM, Secrets Manager, VPC Endpoints, PrivateLink, Step Functions
- APIs and integrations: REST, gRPC, OAuth/OIDC, EventBridge, SQS, webhooks, integration with third-party enterprise systems
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CDK for Terraform (CDKTF), environment configuration, Azure DevOps pipelines
- DevOps: Git workflows, branching strategies, Docker, ECR, automated testing, release gates
- Security: IAM/CIAM (Entra), TLS/KMS, WAF, multi-tenancy Setup
- Full-time, based in Tunis, embedded with the client's engineering team.
