International Finance Expert for Emerging Markets

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is a pioneering international financial institution that invests in projects transforming economies and changing lives for the better.
We are seeking a talented Banking Analyst to join our International Professionals Programme, an immersive and supportive 24-month programme designed for successful graduates to unleash their potential and kick-start a career at the EBRD.
The Banking Analyst will be assigned to various project teams, contributing to all phases of the project cycle, including origination, structuring, execution, implementation, and monitoring. Key responsibilities include:
- Comprehensive research and analysis of background materials, market information, and financial performance data
- Preparation of terms of reference and internal approval documentation to support related investment projects or policy dialogue
- Communication with internal units, clients, and stakeholders, preparing draft correspondence, presentations, and emails
In addition to quantitative/numerical/financial analytical skills, credit analysis skills, fluency in written and spoken English, and a keen interest in international development, private sector development, and field-based practical work, the ideal candidate should have a recent degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or Business Administration.
