X-Ray Technologist Job Description
">We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing radiology procedures, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring the quality of diagnostic imaging equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a Tennessee state X-Ray license, and/or ARRT certification. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
As an X-Ray Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and working in a dynamic medical environment, we encourage you to apply.
- Key Responsibilities:
Perform radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care
Ensure that equipment is in proper working order and report any malfunctions
Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient visit
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent education based on certification type; skills in Medical Assisting are required
- Tennessee State X-Ray License and/or ARRT Certification: Tennessee state X-Ray license, and/or ARRT, is required
