About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Programme Coordinator to join our team in Tunisia and Libya. This role will provide support to the Country Representative and the Head of Programmes in strategic programme planning, reporting, and monitoring.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide substantive inputs on the formulation of concept notes for UN Women's intervention areas, as well as the office's strategic note.
  • Contribute to the development of country programming processes and products, including the annual workplan, strategic note, and programme/project documents.
  • Facilitate and substantively contribute to the incorporation of monitoring and reporting into programme formulation.
  • Coordinate with Programme Team to ensure that data collection and analysis from field visits are coordinated and standardized across programmes.
  • Support with the draft donor and programme reports, including meeting quality and timely delivery and RBM language.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree (or equivalent) in international development, public administration, public policy, or other relevant social science field.
  • At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience working with programme planning and design.
  • Experience in the development, planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of programmes.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide advice and support.
  • Fluency in English and French is required. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
