Education Specialist Job Description

UNICEF is seeking an experienced Education Specialist to support programme planning, management, and implementation in education. The successful candidate will contribute to achieving sustainable results to improve learning outcomes and universal access to quality, equitable, and inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support programme development and planning
  • Programme management, monitoring, and delivery of results
  • Technical and operational support to programme implementation
  • Networking and partnership building
  • Innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building

Requirements:

  • Advanced university degree in education, economics, psychology, sociology, or a relevant technical field
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in programme planning and management in education
  • Experience working in a developing country is an asset
  • Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is an asset
  • Fluency in English, working knowledge in French, and knowledge of Arabic is an asset
