About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Planner for Sustainable Development to join our team in [Location]. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the effective management of construction activities for UNICEF Programs/Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Manage Construction Activities: Collaborate with UNICEF Programs/Operations and government counterparts to ensure the successful planning, management, and oversight of construction projects.
  • Develop Technical Documents: Prepare design and technical documents that meet international standards and best practices.
  • Support Procurement Process: Assist in the procurement process to ensure that materials and services are procured efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor Progress: Monitor construction projects to ensure that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: An advanced university degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, architecture, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in project management, site supervision, quality assurance, and/or other directly-related technical fields is required.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station is an asset.
