Who We Are
At Storm Ideas, we work with some of the biggest names in US entertainment.
Since 2008, our international team has helped major entertainment, media and
content-led businesses build stronger relationships with audiences through
strategy, social, creative production, community, operations, products and
technology.Â
Our work sits at the intersection of entertainment, fandom,
content, technology and operations. Storm is an entertainment agency for the AI
era: combining deep social, content and audience expertise with practical AI
capability. We help clients make excellent work today, while redesigning the
teams, workflows and operations they need as AI reshapes the industry.Â
We practise what we sell: we have transformed how Storm itself operates for the
AI era, with agentic tools, shared context and AI-native workflows woven into
everyday work — and a dedicated AI Operations team keeping that stack reliable
and well-run. You will be stepping into an environment most agencies are still
only talking about, and building on foundations most marketers never get.Â
Storm is headquartered in the UK, with an international, remote-first team and a
client base centred on US entertainment. We are now building our first dedicated
commercial team.Â
About the Role
This is an AI-first marketing role. Not a marketing role that “uses AI tools” — a role where the marketing engine itself is built from AI agents, reusable skills, shared context and automated workflows, and where you are the person who designs, runs and relentlessly improves that engine. The engine's job is authority and demand: a website that makes Storm's positioning unmissable, articles and SEO content that earn attention, an active LinkedIn presence for Storm and its senior leaders, research packs so our commercial team never walks into a room cold, and the creative assets that carry all of it. That's why craft matters as much as the AI. You need real writing and editing ability, an eye for design (you'll make and direct visual assets, and while you don't need to be a designer, you do need to know good from almost-good) and a marketer's instinct for story: how a narrative builds attention across a post, a page and a campaign. AI gives you leverage; judgement decides what ships. The right person does not need to arrive as a fully formed senior marketing leader. We care much more about agency, judgement, systems thinking, technical mindedness, learning velocity and serious engagement with the work. But the AI bar is real. We're not talking
about us
ing AI as a search box or an autocomplete. The person we're looking for treats AI as a capable pair of hands. They delegate whole pieces of work, not just questions. They review what comes back with a sharp, critical eye. And they keep refining how they brief and direct it, so the quality compounds. If you read that and thought “that's just how I work now,” this role is built for you. What You Will Do
* Build and run Storm's marketing engine as an AI-first system: agents, skills, prompts, context libraries and automations producing website content, articles, LinkedIn material and research at a pace and consistency manual marketing cannot matchÂ
* Own the source-of-truth context layer that makes AI output good: positioning, service descriptions, content pillars, senior POVs, approved language and tone — structured so every workflow starts from truth, not from a blank promptÂ
* Turn senior thinking into public authority: interview internal experts, mine calls and transcripts with AI, and take drafts from agent output to published quality with real editorial judgementÂ
* Create and direct the creative assets that carry the story — social graphics, visual content and short-form video — using AI generation tools, with the eye to keep everything unmistakably on-brandÂ
* Own the rebrand and website content, making sure prospects can quickly understand what Storm does, why we are credible and where AI fits into our workÂ
* Own the article and SEO strategy, tied to Storm's positioning and the audiences we want to reachÂ
* Run market and competitor research: how comparable agencies and consultancies position themselves, and what Storm should learn or avoidÂ
* Support outreach campaigns with contact research, campaign lists and outreach drafts, directed by the Business Development DirectorÂ
* Build QA into every workflow: source checks, claim checks, tone checks and approval points, so AI velocity never turns into AI slopÂ
* Evaluate and rebuild your own workflows continuously as models, tools and capabilities change — what you run in month six should be better than what you built in month oneÂ
* Track what is working in commercial terms: target-account engagement, senior-leader reach, inbound enquiries, useful conversations started, and content actually used in commercial conversations Your Expertise You are likely to have:Â
* Strong writing and editing ability, with a talent for turning complex or messy thinking into clear, useful material for senior audiences — the craft is non-negotiableÂ
* An eye for design and visual storytelling: able to make or direct on-brand creative assets with AI image and video tools — you don't need to be a designer, but you need tasteÂ
* Some experience, strong project work or clear self-started evidence in marketing, editorial, content, communications or adjacent workÂ
* Genuine command of AI tools and a strong instinct for how fast the landscape is moving: frontier LLMs and agentic tools (Claude Code, Codex-style agents or similar) already central to your real work, not an occasional chat windowÂ
* Evidence that you have built AI-assisted workflows, prompt or skill libraries, knowledge bases or automations that someone other than you could useÂ
* Practical understanding of prompt and agent configuration, context design and lightweight technical systems — markdown, GitHub, Airtable, CMSs, automation tools — or the demonstrated appetite to learn them fastÂ
* Judgement about tone, quality, accuracy and what should or should not be published; you never treat AI output as finished truthÂ
* An interest in how marketing supports relationship-led sales: credibility, proof, reasons to meet and confidence during procurement What It's Like To Work Here AI-Native, For Real AI tooling and agentic workflows are central to how every Storm team works, and a dedicated AI Operations team keeps the stack reliable and well-configured. You build your workflows on managed foundations, not from scratch — and you will be expected to use them seriously. Ideas Welcome, Always We actively encourage people to bring forward ideas that improve how the company works. This role is expected to improve Storm's marketing system continuously, not execute a static calendar. Fast, Agile, Adaptive We move quickly, make decisions pragmatically and adapt as tools, clients and opportunities change. Team-based You will work across leadership, commercial, account management, creative, AI operations and delivery teams. Remote-First and International Storm is a remote-first company with an international team. Strong written communication, context discipline and async working habits matter. Recruitment Process
* Application with your CV or resume — a short intro note is welcome but not requiredÂ
* Any work you want to show us? It's optional but would be a bonus Anything you think might be relevantÂ
* Online video questions for shortlisted candidates, focused on your judgement, writing ability, marketing systems thinking and practical AI useÂ
* First interview with a member of the recruitment teamÂ
* A short practical task relevant to the roleÂ
* Task review and second interview with relevant senior leadersÂ
* Final interview with Louise ---------------------
